Capturing the beauty of Turtle Island

Hello my name is Lashanaketoht which means His name comes up in Oneida, I am a member of the Oneida Nation located in Wisconsin. Currently a student at Northeast Wisconsin Technical College I am studying photography. My interest in photography started when I was in my junior year of high school during the summer I would take photos of flowers and bugs when I could catch them at the right time and I had a lot of fun doing that. That day I thought why not try to make a living doing photography because it is something I enjoy, doing something you enjoy for your job is the best kind of job. On the left is a photo I had my sister take of me with her phone it amazes me how good phone cameras have gotten over the years.
